Margarita Cox

Bay Area native Margarita Cox has used her Greek heritage and urban upbringing to influence her music throughout her twenty year career.  Her soulful and sultry vocals are spellbinding. Onstage, her charm effortlessly delivers fun and mystery, leaving you wanting more. Her style reflects her love of world music, the golden era, and musical theater. She is currently writing and producing her long awaited full length LP, as well as a bilingual children’s album and illustrated book, both out this June. A finalist on Fame Story (Greece’s answer to American Idol), she has toured the world and performed on stages to the thousands. Her coveted remake of “Never on Sunday,” brought her to Carnegie Hall playing the role of Ilya, originally made famous by Melina Mercouri. Other notable past performances include a widely successful global online fundraise for Covid-19 relief, soloing with the National choirs of China and Cuba, and Los Angeles’s Pantages Theater.
Our production at Carnegie Hall came to life the moment Margarita stepped on stage. Her voice, as well as her energy, opened the hearts of the audience.
